About CBI Remodel
Focus on remodeling
with attention to architectural detail.
Paul Sturzinger, owner and operator of CBI Remodel, founded the company in 1977 in Salem, Oregon. Inspired by a love of woodworking during his teen years, Paul went into the construction business soon after completing his education. As a finish carpenter he discovered his natural ability for design and an instinctive understanding of all aspects of construction, which soon led him to start his own company.
From its inception, Paul felt CBI Remodel should focus on remodeling, as he enjoys restoring and preserving the charm of older homes and buildings. Through the years, Paul gained a wealth of experience for design problem solving. Coupled with his innate ability to redefine or add to an existing space while preserving architectural detail, he quickly gained a reputation as the remodeler of choice for the Salem area.
A True Family Business
Working for the family business since their early teens, Paul’s sons Matt and Joe joined their dad in estimating and project management for CBI Remodel. Matt Sturzinger is a 2005 graduate of Oregon State University, with a BS in Business Administration and Communications. Joe Sturzinger began working fulltime for CBI Remodel after high school, continuing his education part-time at Chemeketa Community College. He is proficient in CAD.
Serving Our Community
CBI Remodel founder Paul Sturzinger feels strongly that community service is important, both personally and professionally. It has been our pleasure to help with Salem’s Adopt-a-Street Program, Liberty House, Gilbert House Children’s Museum, Monthly Pet Adoption through the Humane Society of the Willamette Valley, Salem Neighborhood Watch, and other programs that benefit our community.
Attention to Detail...
“ Dear Ken, I would like to furnish the Construction Contractors Board with a compliment for CBI Remodel. This is the second time CBI has done work for us and we, as we were the first time, are very pleased with their work, attention to detail and addressing end-of-project details...”
